MANIFESTO OF METAPHYSICAL DESIGN

It’s over. Critical design. Human-centered Design. Authorial Design. We’ve tried everything. And yet nothing has changed. Design wanted to change the world. Improve it. Save it. Or were we just lying to ourselves? Enough is enough!

Metaphysical Design is the answer we never looked for. With energetic determination and a holistic approach, we are taking design to a new level of being. New tools for new Design. New methods for a new authenticity.

We are the epicenter. The epicenter of a new consciousness in Design. The epicenter of a new self-awareness in Design.

Starting at the University of the Arts Bremen, we will change Design in its very essence. We design for energies, for transitions, for the in-between. Profound, all-encompassing, metaphysical. We do not close our eyes—we open our third eye. May a new consciousness arise through Metaphysical Design.

OATH OF METAPHYSICAL DESIGN

I swear to use Metaphysical Design only for the common good.

I swear not to harm anyone through Metaphysical Design.

I swear not to use Metaphysical Design for the accumulation of wealth.

I swear to increase Metaphysical Design by shifting thinking rather than binding it.

I swear to respect collective consciousness and nurture Metaphysical Design in every state, visible or hidden.

I swear not to hide Metaphysical Design, but not to force its effect either.

I swear to respect the emptiness that enables change.

I swear to honor tools that I do not fully understand, and to preserve their secrets as part of the design.

I swear not to fear criticism and doubt, but to see them as indicators of a living consciousness.

I swear to share Metaphysical Design, not as dogma, but as a prism for new perspectives.
